Saturday, July 19th at Ryckman Park from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  

There is a small group of very vocal naysayers who are trying to undermine this vital event by spreading misinformation on social media (primarily on Nextdoor). They call us “proven losers and liars”. They claim that we are “the ones to spread the Fire Department’s message”.  Apparently, they don’t like any message, other than their own, to be shared with our Town residents.

Let us be clear, Truth and Accuracy Matter has a tremendous amount of support and is gaining momentum daily. In just three weeks, over 65 neighbors have joined our efforts and donated over $5,000.00. Most neighbors are FED UP with the continuous nonsense on Nextdoor from that same small group that is spreading misinformation about the governance of our Town.  

In these few weeks, we have had over 1,700 visitors to our website, PoliticsinParadise.com. Many readers are sending us notes of thanks for being a truthful and accurate resource for information. 

The analytics that we receive daily from our website provider show that visitors are returning multiple times and have read our pages over 6,700 times.  The stats also show that we are receiving visitors directly from Nextdoor. These figures PROVE that our Town residents are seeking trustworthy and documented information. No longer are wise people willing to accept opinions, personal agendas and unfounded attacks coming from that group. 

Their deceptive tactics lead people to believe that they are experts and everything is wrong in our Town… “the management is corrupt, the numbers are false, the job duties aren’t being fulfilled”, etc. etc. etc. They post a litany of mindless questions in an attempt to confuse the residents into thinking something is amiss.  It’s almost comical… if it weren’t so important.

Smart people can discern truth from nonsense!

Smart people know that positive community connections will create strong relationships that inspire everyone to work together.

Smart people know that working together will benefit the entire Town by sharing ideas and innovative solutions to challenges.

THAT is why we are sponsoring the Ice Cream Social…. A fun and open discussion where neighbors can meet each other in person. We want you to meet us and we want to meet you too! Our ice cream social is the first of many upcoming events in our Town. 

We invite you to join us at this important gathering, not only for delicious ice cream but also to engage constructively in getting factual information about the future of our fire department.
