As we gear up to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4th, the Town of Melbourne Beach is buzzing with excitement! Our vibrant community is coming together to honor this milestone with joyful events that will bring neighbors closer and create lasting memories.

Join in the WAGS & FLAGS Community Parade, where creativity, patriotism, and neighborly spirit will shine! Prizes will be awarded, and everyone is invited to participate making this a fun-filled event for all. Registration is not required.* See below

Decorate your golf cart, bicycle, truck, car or simply just walk. We will start lining up at Rock Harbor Church at 3:30pm. The parade begins at 4:00 and will continue up Pine Street to end at Town Hall. Everyone can then walk over to Ryckman Park for a fun filled afternoon packed with live music, delicious food, refreshing beverages, and plenty of activities for all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and celebrate our great nation with friends and family!  Watching fireworks over the river makes for the perfect ending of a fabulous celebration!

A special shoutout to our MB Fire Department volunteers, our Public Works Department,  our Parks Board, and the many volunteer residents  who have been hard at work organizing and decorating our town for this exciting occasion.  Thank you to Jeanette Soucy, chair of our Town’s Parks Board for presenting many of the ideas, including an artist search. We’re thrilled to feature the stunning 4 x 8 patriotic artwork by local teenage artist Meadow Miller from Indialantic. Inspired by her parents’ military past, Meadow’s artwork captures the spirit of America beautifully. At just 14 years old and the oldest of five siblings, she dreams of becoming a professional artist. Thank you, Meadow, for your creativity, passion and love for our country. Your artwork is spectacular and is proudly displayed at the Melbourne Beach Community Center.

Truth and Accuracy Matter wants to express our gratitude to the local Melbourne Beach Exxon for their unwavering support of our town. The dedication of our local businesses plays a vital role in fostering a sense of community, and we are truly blessed to have so many wonderful business owners and neighbors who contribute to our vibrant atmosphere.

Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to ALL of our Town staff. Your commitment to serving the residents of the town of Melbourne Beach has made our town the BEST beach community in Brevard County. From your smiling faces to your impeccable work ethic, we are so thankful for everything you do for us.

Together, let’s celebrate this momentous occasion and the spirit of America with love, joy, patriotism, and community spirit! Happy 250th birthday America on this Fourth of July!  God bless the USA and the Town of Melbourne Beach!
