Mayor Demands $56,350.47
At last night’s Town Commission Meeting, Mayor Dennington demanded $56,350.47 from the Town of Melbourne Beach taxpayers to pay HER attorney’s fees as her settlement offer for three of the six lawsuits that she has filed against the Town.
The main case is the shed case. If the Mayor would have simply paid the $79 permit fee required by the Town, as is required for every resident of our town, and allowed her shed to be inspected for safety, this could have all been avoided. CLICK HERE to read Shedgate.

The Town Commission wisely decided not to move on this agenda item. The Mayor’s settlement offer, which is Funoe LLC, stands until December 5, 2025… which is AFTER the election.
Candidates LARSON and WALTERS support Mayor Dennington and her lawsuits. Voting for them will COST OUR TOWN an additional $56,350.47 …bringing the total costs to taxpayers for her lawsuits to $219,888.97.
